The attic coverage chart is essential for proper Rvalues. Get an R30 with only 8 1/2 inches of Celbar Loosefill.
Studies show what we all know to be true: heating and cooling costs are a major component of the homes monthly utilizes. Clearly this makes your insulation selection one of the most important energy investments you can make.
Properly Insulate Your Homes Attic
Compare Insulation
Not all insulations provide the same amount of insulating power. At an equivalent thickness, low density fiberglass insulation always transmits heat faster than cellulose. Celbar Loosefill is able to achieve an R30 in only 8.3. Ordinary fiberglass fails to achieve an R15 at the same thickness. The reason why lowdensity fiberglass has a lower Rvalue than cellulose is mostly because glass fibers do not block radiant heat as well as cellulose fibers.

Reduce Heating and Cooling Bills
Resists Mold and Mildew
Resists Insects
Naturally Safe does not Itch
Reduces Noise
Fire Resistant
Please visit www.energy.gov for your exact Rvalue recommendation.
The "R" means resistance to heat flow. The higher the Rvalue, the greater the insulation power. Compare insulation Rvalues before you buy. There are other factors to consider. The amount of insulation you need depends mainly on your climate. Also, your fuel savings from insulation will depend on the climate, type and size of your home, your fuel use pattern, and family size. If you buy too much insulation, it will cost you more than what youll save on fuel.
The chart shows the Rvalue of this insulation.
To get the marked Rvalue it is essential that this insulation be properly installed.
